I wish someone had told me when I was young how important a good credit history was

Monday, December 17th, 2007

I never knew that there was such a thing as a credit score. My friend who works in one of the major credit card companies told me about it, and how it is calculated. Banks and credit card companies need to know how much to lend to a person or if to lend money at all. The criteria that they judge is the person's credit history if any, if they have outstanding loans or credit, their salary, employment history and the general state of their finances. If all balances out well they should have no trouble receiving a loan. He also told me that people who have a shaky credit score can call in the services of a credit repair company to help them to repair their score.

Do It Yourself Living Trust for Those Not Wanting an Attorney

Monday, December 17th, 2007

There is a do it yourself living trust/b> for those not wanting to hire an attorney. You need to be careful though that you have all the forms filled out correctly and properly filed with the right agencies. Everything will have to be notarized and properly filed for the living trust to be legal and active. This is an excellent option if you are already an attorney, accountant or someone that is good with legal papers and have a solid financial background. Otherwise, these can get a little intimidating and you might end up having to help with it anyway.
