As long as you are enrolling in an accredited university, you can pursue any course of study that they offer.  Among other things, if you want to pursue a fine arts degree, you will receive the same student education loan,  funding opportunities as someone studying for a degree in business or the sciences.  That said, you should still exercise some caution in choosing your degree field.  Unfortunately, you will find that some courses of study will not give you much chance to obtain a good job unless you go for graduate studies.  At the same time, delayed entry into the job market can have enormous consequences.  As an example, you may also find that workers with seniority will still be able to prevent you from advancing into better paying positions.
