A will and living trust are different from one another. People often get confused that both of these are the same since you are leaving a financial settlement to someone in specific. A will is what you want done with your items and your finances and is set up for after your death. While you can put your living trust information on it the living trust is a separate account. A living trust is a private document and a will is filed with the courts and can be viewed by the public.
