Unfortunately you may have to bring legal action to get at them if your parents won't cooperate. About the account numbers: Your parents get reports @ their address from the investment company or Bank and your SS# is the Account number plus the way it was set you can just be only the beneficiary.Go to your Bank and ask in information that you want to talk to an investment adviser and get yourself educated in Mutual funds and also ask the same question to him or her and you will know the best way to resolve and get the correct answer.
