It will last until we oust Skeletor from the 3rd most important position in our National government. Since she represents all the greatest ideals of the idiotic left, the only way to do that is to get a republican House once again. It doesn’t look good for the near future though…apparently people are listening to NBC too often and believe that Congress just stinks now…not because it’s Democrat led, but because it’s Congress.

Tired of the blame game…who has been in power past 8 years and who had control of both houses for 6 of the past 8
Considering how long it takes for anything to get done …how could the Dem’s do anything with hands tied for one year

The world is going into a Global recession…just reported on the news

Things are going down…fast

The credit wil freeze and then we will see how it effects our daily lives
and will continue to be this way for quite awhile

at this point I do not care if you call it Pelosi recession….who cares what it is called….markets are shown high volietity WORLD wide
and we are all in this Together

For working people in this country, this recession has been going on for about 6 1/2 years. Wall street can claim that there was no recession then based market performance, but wages have been in decline for a long time and manufacturing has been in decline for more than a couple of years. Who was trying to convince us that outsourcing was actually good for America? Who gave tax breaks to corporations who elected to ship jobs out of the U.S.? Bush has run every business he ever had into the ground and now he’s done it to us. Congress didn’t initiate the Milton Friedman idiotic deregulate everything trickle down policies of economics, Reagan did, and the Bush jackals gave this short sighted notion a shot of steroids. That is how we got here.

of course. a recession is something that occurs over night, it’s not the culmination of years and years of poor decisions. those damn democrats got in and immediately went about destroying the economy.
I’m glad to see that propaganda is alive and well and living in the republican party.

The ground work for this was not done in two years. In fact are you Reps fond of calling this a do nothing congress. This was a long time in the making. I do agree that both sides had more than a generous hand in it though. Time to start getting new blood all the way around so I hope some people start challenging their own incumbents.

Very long tome. I believe the 700 billion bailout is a sliver of what it will take. Pelosi herself was quoted in the Wall Street Journal that the 700 Billion was just the first of many.

She is prolonging the pain.
